Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival

Probably the best tourism initiative I've seen in Hong Kong so far. Each year, for a couple of weeks local artists are invited to showcase their outdoor installations. The idea is to make remote villages in the scenic Sai Kung region more attractive for tourism. During the festival, additional ferries allow you to visit multiple small islands and experience the artworks surrounded by beautiful nature. January 13, 2024
